Unique & Functional Wood Art
Evans Woodworks creates one of a kind, artistic, functional wood creations; featuring some of the most beautiful woods in the world. Each of our pieces is handmade in Missouri - with attention to craftsmanship and visual appeal.
We hand select all of the woods used in our products; sourced from vendors around the world - as well as cutting our own slabs and blocks from rough logs sourced locally. We try to use only natural colored woods, so 99% of our products have no stains or dyes used to change their appearance or color. Our products include exotic wood coasters, cutting boards, drink flight boards and custom wood art pieces.

About Us
... and I am Evan's Dad, Chris Evans.
Thank you for checking out our website. We truly appreciate your support and patronage!
For almost 20 years I worked in the design and development world doing visual design, custom programming and site development. I eventually came to realize I did not really enjoy my work anymore; that it was just not fulfilling. Art has always been a focus of mine and beyond just wanting to have the ability to be more creative, I wanted to make something that would last. Something that you could hold in your hand and feel - physical art.
My son Evan, who turned 18 around this same time; also needed a way to make money for himself. Since Evan is Autistic, his learning process is a bit different from most people. My wife and I knew it would likely be a challenge for most employers to accommodate that and so we needed to find a way to help ease him into the working world. Evan is great at doing tasks, as long as he has help and specific, repetitive teaching during the learning period. Once he has the process down, he does a great job!
So the idea for "Evans Woodworks" was born and came to fruition with the support of my lovely and supportive wife; as well as our family and friends.
