Pepperwood Burl Jewelry Box (Large)
Also known as Pimiento, this wood originates from Peru. It displays colors which range from various creams, pinks and shades of red to golden browns with random dark brown or black veins streaking across the wood. Burls, with areas of swirling colors are common and are typically used for artisan woodworks like bowls, fine furniture or are sliced for use as veneer.
This box has a rosette pattern throughout with several darker burled sections. The inside of the box is lined with cream velvet.
